I am Alicja Blada-Edgeley and I am a counsellor practising in Crewe, Winsford and Northwich Cheshire.
Age groups I work with: children, teenagers, adults and elderly.
Counselling: face to face or over the phone by appointment only. Call my mobile or email me for available appointments.
As a counsellor I support clients and their families who suffer from different mental health problems, but I specialise in:
- domestic abuse
- relationship issues
In sessions you will see me as honest, open and understanding of your emotional needs. I recognise that everyone is different hence in the first session we talk about what brings you to counselling and what are your goals and aims. Once we meet the first time and I understand a little bit more about you we then begin our work together. You can have short or long term counselling all depends on you and what you want to achieve from counselling.
I have a passion for counselling and a lot of experience of working with people from different backgrounds with various problems. That’s why I know how to communicate with people, how to effectively assess their needs and how best to support them.
I offer a confidential and non-judgemental environment where you can freely explore your unwanted feelings, thoughts and emotions, and together we try to find the underlying meaning of your struggles. My aim is to empower you so that you become the person you always wanted to be!
Between 2013-2019 I was employed by the local domestic abuse organisation. I have a great experience of supporting women and men affected by domestic abuse who were victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse. I have delivered ‘ Gateway’ the recovery programme for women affected by domestic abuse and in the last 3 years I have been overseeing work of support workers and other counsellors by offering them regular clinical supervision.
I deliver workshops suitable to all ages:
- Raising awareness on domestic abuse
- How to increase your self- esteem
